Accessibility in Web Design

Why did I take the course?

As part of my work at Siemens, we have access to a vast selection of courses on LinkedIn. I wanted to take a chance on a course that taught me the finer details of designing web projects for accessibility. I was always aware of the importance of choosing colors and icons that are clear for those with visibility issues, but I wasn't quite aware of other things I should also consider

How do I feel about it

I feel like this course was a good start and something that I would like to follow up and investigate more in the future. It was a rather short course and didn't have a ton of practical examples, but got me thinking about these decisions, which is why I often will design my projects with both a dark and light mode. I'm sure this is an area that I can improve upon however and should be something I strive to work on.
